My name is Andrew Karaman. I am a freshman at Oliver High and this is my fish. My fish was originally an art project for 4th or 5th grade (4 or 5 years ago) at Horase Mann Elementary. We were to make a Japanese flag out of paper. A Japanese flag usually looks like a 3 dimensional kite in the shape of an animal (such as a fish or a dragon). Over the years I have kept the fish hanging in my room not knowing what to do with it. The fish would never stay together and I would always have to fix it. So one summer day I decided to fix it for good. I stuffed old clothes inside the fish to keep the form and paper mached it throughout the summer in my spare time. I didn't touch it for a whole school semester. Then when I started coming to the Guild I decided to bring my fish here and paint it in 2d/3d.
