Hi. My name is Ryan Reed and I am from George Westinghouse High School. I'm in the 12th grade. I have been making wood carvings and furniture for about 9 years. During this time I also worked as a carpenter's assistant building closets, tables, and bookshelves. When I was twelve I helped my grandfather build his three floor deck. The top floor was near the roof, and then it went downward to his yard. Now I do more complex carving projects. My art teacher introduced me to carving walking sticks. The first stick that I made was a wizard holding a crystal ball. Since that time I have made 9 more sticks.
