Notes: On this project, I am the lead designer for a pilot, inter-departmental, inter-campus project. Coordinate professors, IT staff, outside vendors for the creation of this combination academic website and hybrid online/face-to-face course. With the webmaste r and programmer, piloted the use of a content management system at UMass. Learning the system and training faculty how to use. Generate all css for the project as well as building the site using the CMS's unique tagging language. Presented this project at NERCOMP Educational MashUps 2 conference in New Hampshire (2008) as well as at EDTech day at Umass Boston. Piloting the use of custom Map Mashups with historic maps at UMass. Attended the 2008 Google Developer's Conference in San Francisco to expand knowledge of Map Mashups.
