Role: In-house senior web designer on a small energetic team that serves all of UMass Boston, August 2007 - present.
Notes: On this project, I was the lead designer for a pilot, inter-departmental, inter-campus project. Coordinated professors, IT staff, outside vendors for the creation of this combination academic website and hybrid online/face-to-face course.
With the webmaster and programmer, piloted the use of a content management system at UMass Boston. Trained faculty how to use new system. Generated all css for the project as well as building the site using the CMS's unique tagging language.
Presented this project at NERCOMP Educational MashUps 2 conference in New Hampshire (2008) as well as at EDTech Conference at Umass Boston (2010).
Piloted the use of custom Map Mashups with historic maps at UMas Boston. Attended the 2008 Google Developer's Conference in San Francisco to expand knowledge of Map Mashups.
